• The dosing schedule typically starts with a dosage of 0.25 mg once per week for 4 weeks.
• After 4 weeks, the dosage is usually increased to 0.5 mg once per week for at least 4 weeks.
• If the 0.5 mg dosage does not effectively manage blood sugar levels, your doctor may increase the dosage to 1 mg once per week or the maximum dosage of 2 mg once per week.
• Your doctor will prescribe the smallest effective dosage that works for you.
